If you are in USA and are planning to be in the North eastern part you must visit the Lost Valley Ski Resort. The place is located in the 300 acre and is in the middle of Maine. The resort offers good terrain and they even boasts of hills, bridges and fifteen well kept slopes.
The trail is the best suited for the beginners and the intermediate but the experts have more thrilling trail systems to enjoy themselves. For the skiers they have three lifts out of which two chair lifts and one surface lift.
If you are the beginner and do not want to buy your own equipment for skiing,snowboarding or mountain bikes are available on rental basis. The lessons are available for the groups or seperate individuals or private groups.
The lodge is has a very good ambience and welcomes the family and good food and beverages are available. The resort conducts the training program for skiers, snowboarders and mountian bikers. It is also a good place to have office meetings, family gatherings, or friends reunion and they also conduct wedding receptions and any other special party.
